Feldman's Books

I recently went to a used bookstore in Menlo Park called Feldman's Books. It's located in downtown Menlo Park so super easy to get to via the Caltrain. 

I of course went in armed with my list of older books I'm hoping to find second hand trade paperback size (which seems to be a disappearing art 😢). Of course I found the sci-fi/fantasy section right away at the very entrance of the store! It even had a cool looking mural above it.

They had a large selection of the coveted trade paperbacks but unfortunately none of the ones I was looking for. I did find a childhood favorite first book in an unfinished series called Abarat by Clive Barker. My still remember this part (sung to the tune o "O Christmas Tree")- a fun trip down memory lane!

Outside of the Scifi section though this bookstore is as labyrinthine and lived in feeling as one would hope for a used bookstore. The shelves don't really match, arranged in a haphazard sort of way, and there are unique posters and knickknacks at the ends of shelves.

This was a fun largish used bookstore that I would recommend if you are in the area. I will definitely be visiting this store every few months again to see how their inventory changes to see if I can complete my bookish quests!
